I am a Colorado native who is passionate about sustainability, the outdoors, traveling and living consciously. In my free time I enjoy gardening, going to live music and playing outside.

I'm from Englewood, Ohio. I attended college at the University of Cincinnati where I studied Social Work and Child Psychology. I'm co-owner of Confident Care of Colorado, LLC, a non-medical home care agency helping Seniors and People with Disabilities stay in their homes. I'm married with one child.

I officially moved to Wheat Ridge in 2014 after splitting my time between Cary, NC & Colorado for 7 years. I own an emergency management consulting firm which keeps me busy with healthcare & higher ed clients across the country.  In my spare time I enjoy reading, yoga & traveling.

After years of a 3 hour commute to & from Chicago, I was offered a manager position based in Boulder. I took it and didn’t look back. Originally from Ohio, it wasn’t until I moved to Wheat Ridge that I felt I had the right community to create a lifelong home. I enjoy skiing & hiking with my husband & daughter.

I'm a longtime Colorado resident but new to Wheat Ridge. I'm here to stay & help it continue to grow as a thriving community. I'm dedicated to my family as a mother of 2 small children. I enjoy helping people stay active & healthy. My background includes public service as a former firefighter/paramedic & small business owner.

I was born in Pittsburgh, PA and lived there until I went to college at Virginia Tech where I became a Civil Engineer.  After college I moved around a lot before coming to Denver to work on TREX.  I met my husband, settled down & had a beautiful daughter named Jordan 6 years ago.  We moved to Wheat Ridge in 2011 & love it here!

Originally from Nesconset, New York, I studied Political Science at Gettsburgh College followed by a masters in International Studies from University of Denver. I'm currently the Education Outreach Coordinator for The ARC Arapahoe & Douglas Counties and I teach Political Sciene and Women's Studies at Community College of Aurora.

My background includes extensive board experience serving cultural & youth organizations. I've been grant writer and participated in the planning and execution of several fund raising events. I've lived in Wheat Ridge for 17 years and am excited to see the changes and to be part of that process.

After settling in Wheat Ridge in 2015, I decided to learn about my new community by volunteering. In 2008, I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Until retiring in 2013, I worked in senior leadership for two national corporations that serve the healthcare industry. Since then, I've transferred my professional experience to volunteer as a patient advocate.

Clearly I'm a person happiest outside and, more difficult to see, I'm also happiest with a dog. I am a mom, a grandma, an artist, a writer, a book lover, and a Navy brat; who has lived all over. Very glad I landed in Colorado and Wheat Ridge.

Currently working as the Special Operations Manager for a local General Contractor, I spend my sparse spare time entertaining my two four legged companions, fixing up my first home, tending to my vegetable garden or enjoying a well-crafted libation.
